YOGA
More than just physical movement, Yoga offers us the opportunity to befriend ourselves on a deeper and more true level. Learning to trust the intelligence of our bodies is a potent source of power, creativity and healing.
Feeling and breathing into your body, connecting breath, movement and thought, enables greater connection and understanding of our true nature and existence.
Combining modalities and knowledge from studying Neuroscience, Yoga, Dance, Meditation and Breathwork training, I am passionate about guiding and facilitating others on their journey of embodied curiosity towards self love, growth and wellness.
MY YOGAÂ STORY

Life brings challenges that present us with the opportunity for growth. Following a traumatic event in my life - Yoga offered me the comfort and space I needed to reconnect to the present and heal through connection to my mind and body in the moment I was living - It allowed me to let go of the pain, emotion and thoughts I was unconsciously reliving.

It was on this journey that I later realised that my yoga practice was where I often returned to during challenging times in my life. I now have over 1000 hours of international Yoga teacher training.

The philosophy has given me the opportunity to re-evaluate my values and improve my relationship with myself, others and the world. It is both thought provoking and challenging, and offers so much space for growth. Yoga has become part of my lifestyle and has helped me become a more fulfilled, calm and gracious person. It has also helped me to cultivate tools, attitudes & energy to move through life with greater resilience.

The diversity in my training, and experience in various countries, has shown me the importance of individuality. Tailoring yoga to the specific needs of the individual is essential to getting the most out of the practice.
I love a strong vinyasa practice and also understand the importance of slowing right down, feeling and moving with safe alignment. The main focus of all my practice is to connect the mind and body with breath to overcome the craziness that happens within my mind. I have learnt the importance of finding a practice in life (this will be different for everyone) that allows complete detachment from the thoughts of the past and the future, allowing you to graciously live within the present.
Yoga gives me the opportunity to be completely present. There is so much to focus on within the practice, that all my thoughts, feelings and concerns about anything else completely slip away. I am left with only myself, using my breath to guide my mind and body into a peaceful state of flow.
